Clare Taylor

Clare Taylor is an independent consultant focusing on the printing and publishing industry. Her work includes support on implementing environmental management systems and green supply chain management systems for individual companies as well as broader industry research and strategic planning work. Clare has been working in printing, publishing and paper for over 30 years and, prior to starting her own consultancy in 1998, has worked as a print buyer both in agencies and the corporate world. She is a Chartered Environmentalist, a Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment, a Member of the Institute of Paper, Printing and Publishing, an Affiliate Member of the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management and a Registered Environmental Auditor.

Peter Lancaster has 30 years of experience in graphic arts, digital print management, and workflow solutions. Using his extensive knowledge of Web to Print and VDP environments, W2P was set up to provide both strategic and operational expertise for today’s rapidly changing market. Prior to W2P Lancaster served as MD of St Ives Graphic Media, a provider of one-to-one marketing communications and e-procurement solutions for print. Previously he was MD of GDI, which launched Europe’s first Web to Print system for stationery products. His clients included Freeserve, BT, AOL, Sky Sports, Barclays Bank and Boots.

Matthew Stevens has worked in the print industry for nearly 25 years. With a background in print manufacturing, he started Intelligent Print Solutions (IPS) in 1996 at the age of 28 - an early foray into the world of print management when the market was in its infancy. One of the first to see the potential demand for a fully managed service exclusive of manufacturing, Matthew played a key role in the growth of IPS and now sits on the board of Charterhouse – the UK’s leading independent print management company. Matthew has vast experience of managing blue-chip brands across a variety of marketing print applications for clients that include Sony Europe, T-Mobile, ING Direct and Shell.
